All Devils Creek trails in zone 2 and trails in zone 4 will open Saturday Feb. 9th at 8am. Except the F trail in Zone 2 from Intersection 57 north to Intersection 48. Due to open water on Devils Creek. Please Respect Private property and stay on marked trails.

3/8/2018 Trails in Good/Very Good Condition all. All Devil's Creek trails were groomed on Wed 3/7. Some minor bare spots and thin snow on trails that run on gravel roads. Sun will eat at them fast. Should be good through the weekend. Temps in 40's after that.

2/26/2018 Trails in Very Good Condition! After 4-6 of new Snow last Friday through Sunday. Devils Creek trails and many others around the area are in very good condition. Unfortunately some temps this week in the upper 30's to low 40's may cause a lot of melting. Get out and ride while you can.

2/19/18 Trials in Fair to Good Condition. Despite the warm days middle of last week. The Devils Creek Trails around the south side of Merrill are still rideable. 1/30/18 Devil's Creek Stump Jumper Trails are in Fair to Good Condition. Trails are groomed but not much snow to work with. There is a hard packed base on most trails. New snow is needed. 1/12/18 Trails Remain Closed. All Devil's Creek Trails around the Merrill are are still closed. Warmer temps and rain the last few days deteriorated most of the snow we had. New snow did not amount to much. Parts of Northern Lincoln Co. are open. Check with Clubs in that area for conditions.

12/22/2017 All Devil's Creek Stump Jumpers Trails and Lincoln County Remain CLOSED. Except the Hiawatha trail from Tomahawk to Oneida County opened at noon Thursday. 12/12/2016 Trails remian Closed. Devils Creek trails are all signed. The cold weather upon us now will help. Many areas are very wet under the snow with little to no frost in the ground. Groomer may be out this coming weekend if posible to start packing/rolling down trails. Much more snow and cold will be needed.

2/23/2016 Trails are CLOSED as of Midnight. All Devil's Creek trails and all of Lincoln Co. trails in Zones 2 and 3 are closed. Only Zone 1 remains open, but in poor condition. Much new snow is needed soon to have any chance to reopen.

2/19/2016 45 degrees and rain. Bad news for Trails. Trail conditions are going to suffer. No trail grooming will be able to take place until colder temps and more snow. Best to stay off trails to try to conserve any base. Better the change to recover if we get more snow and cold weather.

Even with little new snow over the last few weeks the Devil' Creek trails are looking good.

Some areas are a little thin but rideable.

As of Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 - ALL DEVIL'S CREEK TRAILS and LINCOLN CO. TRAILS ARE OPEN

LINCOLN COUNTY: State funded snowmobile trails in Zone 2 will open at noon Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 in Lincoln County.

This opening will mean ALL of Lincoln County's state-funded trails will be open at the same time.

Other trails in Zone 1 and 3 opened Jan. 3.

Riders are requested to stay on marked trails and consult a new trail map to know where you are on the trail system.

Trails allowing winter ATV use in Zones 1 and 3 will be open to ATVs as of 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.

Trails allowing winter ATV use in Zone 2 will remain closed to ATVs until noon Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.

All trails are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees.

Riders should use caution when riding as some areas may be rough and in early season conditions.

Devils Creek Trails Remain Closed.

Starting today at 8:00am most Lincoln Co. trails in zones 1 and 3 will be opening up.

These are trails lying north of Highway 86 and Corridor 17, in addition to those east of Highway 51.

Zone 2 will remain closed, as will winter ATV riding across the entire county.

Devil's Creek Trails are all panned.

Some swamp areas and creek crossings need to freeze more.

Some snow is on the way and very cold temps.

Trails may be able to open by end of next week.

Check back.

Reminder -- ATVs Are only allowed on trails one week after trails open and are closed to ATVs when the temperature reaches above 28 degrees.

12/28/2014  All Trails Remain Closed.

The Merrill are recieved 6-8" of heavy snow on 12/27.

Many creek and river crossings are not frozen over.

The below zero temps this week should help to freeze things up.

No trail preperation is able to be done yet.

Hopefully the cold and some more snow will help.

Currently All Trails remaim Closed.

Trail signing and brushing is mostly complete.

Much more snow and colder temps are needed to freeze up swamps and creek crossings.

All Devil's Creek trails are Closed as of 3/29/14

All of Lincoln County trails will be closed on 3/31/14 midnight.

I hope everyone was able to enjoy a long and great season of riding.

Thanks to all or Land Owners for use of thier land for our trails.

Also thanks to all the snowmobilers that respected the land owners property.

3/27/14 Trails will be open until Saturday morning 3/29/14

All Devils Creek trail were groomed last Sunday.

Base and conditions were good.

But any trails on roads have no snow on them.

Rain right now so it will be deteriating fast.

Temps around 50 be Sunday.

3/14/14 Trails are in good condition.

Devils Creek trails were groomed late last night into early this morning.

Snow conditions are good with very little bare spots.

Except for trails that run on gravel roads, these are getting bare.

Use caution.

******Trails going toward Merrill on the west side and along the airport have not been groomed for a couple weeks.

These are the Rock Island Snowmobile Club trails.

 They have equipment issues.   Any complaints about these trails, talk to them. *****

Warm temps today and colder weather tomorrow and some new snow next week.

A feww more weeks left to get some riding in for this season.
